Works for Me Wednesday--5 or Less

It is a special edition of WFMW!! Shannon has asked us to post our favorite 5 or less ingredient recipes! This should be fairly easy for me to do since most of the dishes that I put together for my family are around 5-7 ingredients! I have a cookbook that I use on a weekly basis from Taste of Home called "Taste of Home's 5 Ingredient Cookbook"! Here is a couple of the recipes that I do from that cookbook!

Last night, we had beef in gravy for dinner! Here is the recipe....

1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
2 tablespoons onion soup mix
2 tablespoons beef broth
1 tablespoon quick-cooking tapioca
1 pound beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
Hot cooked noodles or mashed potatoes

Directions: In a 1-1/2-qt. slow cooker, combine the soup, soup mix, broth and tapioca; let stand for 15 minutes. Stir in the beef. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender. Serve over noodles or mashed potatoes. Yield: 3 servings.

**Notes: I doubled the recipe for my family of 7. I served it over egg noodles. I served a choice of sides...leafy salad or peas & carrots.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup peanut butter
6 cups crisp rice cereal
2 cups (12 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips, melted

Directions: In a large saucepan, combine the sugar, corn syrup and peanut butter. Cook over medium-low heat until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat; add cereal and stir until coated. Spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. pan; press lightly. Spread melted chocolate over bars. Chill. Yield: 1-1/2 to 2 dozen

Here is a few more recipes that I do frequently that are five or less ingredients....
