Daystarby the Gaither Vocal Band
Lily of the valley,
let Your sweet aroma fill my life.
Rose of Sharon show me
how to grow in beauty in God’s sight.
Fairest of ten thousand,
make me a reflection of Your light.
Daystar, shine down on me.
Let Your love shine through me in the night.
Lead me, Lord, I’ll follow,
anywhere You open up the door.
Let Your Word speak to me.
Show me what I’ve never seen before.
Lord, I want to be a witness.
You can take what’s wrong and make it right.
Daystar, shine down on me.
Let Your love shine through me in the night.
Lord, I see a world that’s dying,
wounded by the master of deceit.
Groping in the darkness,
haunted by the years of past defeat.
But then I see You standing near me, Lord.
Shining with compassion in Your eyes.
I pray, Jesus, shine down on me,
Let Your love shine through me in the night.
Daystar, shine down on me.
Let Your love shine through me in the night.
Jesus shine down on me,
Let Your love shine through me in the night. |

Singing Sunday--Safe
Isn't great to know that no matter what we are going through here on this earth that we are not alone!! God is right with us every step of the way because we are safe in His arms!
Safe
by Phil Wickham
To the one who's dreams are falling all apart
And all you're left with is a tired and broken heart
I can tell by your eyes you think your on your own
but you're not all alone
Have you heard of the One who can calm the raging seas
Give sight to the blind, pull the lame up to their feet
With a love so strong He'll never let you go
oh you're not alone
Chorus:
You will be safe in His arms
You will be safe in His arms
'Cause the hands that hold the world are holding your heart
This is the promise He made
He will be with You always
When everything is falling apart
You will be safe in His arms
Verse 2:
Did you know that the voice that brings the dead to life
Is the very same voice that calls you to rise
So hear Him now He's calling you home
You will never be alone
Bridge:
These are the hands that built the mountains
the hands that calm the seas
These are the arms that hold the heavens
they are holding you and me
These are hands that healed the leper
Pulled the lame up to their feet
These are the arms that were nailed to a cross
to break our chains and set us free

Singing Sunday--Nothing Greater Than Grace
Nothing Greater Than Grace
Words & Music by: Marshall Hall, Sam Mitzell, Antonio Neal
Recorded by Point of Grace
What do you say to someone who feels like they've lost it all
over the edge with no one there to break their fall
and what do you say to someone who feels so unloved
giving themselves away a little bit every day just to be good enough
and what do you say to a hopeless soul who can't remember their way home
and everything is out of their control
Chorus:
There is no valley, there is no darkness
there is no sorrow greater than the grace of Jesus.
There is no moment, there is no distance,
there is no heartbreak He can't take you through.
So before you think that you're too lost to save,
Remember there is nothing greater than grace.
What do you say to someone whose life is on the line
and they're unsure what happens after their last breath in time
what do you say to someone whose built a wall you can't break through
and it's so hard for them to hear the truth
There is no valley, there is no darkness
there is no sorrow greater than the grace of Jesus.
There is no moment, there is no distance,
there is no heartbreak He can't take you through.
So before you think that you're too lost to save,
Remember there is nothing greater than grace.
So don't lose hope, don't let go
don't give up, you are not alone
There is no valley, there is no darkness
there is no sorrow greater than the grace of Jesus.
There is no moment, there is no distance,
there is no heartbreak He can't take you through.
So before you think that you're too lost to save,
so before you think that you're too lost to save,
Remember there is nothing greater than grace.

Menu Plan Monday 9/5-9/11
Last week I really did do menus but I didn’t post them because life got busy on me and I didn’t find the time to post them. Now that school is starting this week, I am working very diligently to get some resemblance of order and schedule to get back into a routine for the whole family. There is a big change this school year in that I am sending my oldest to high school so I will only have four kids during the day.
Last week I did an essentials trip of grocery shopping! I am trying to keep the grocery budget down for the next few months because we have six birthdays, an anniversary and Christmas to worry about before the end of the year so we will need extra in our “gift budget”. I really need to get myself motivated to bake up some goodies as that would decrease the baking supply items (butter, zucchini, blueberries & mashed bananas) that I have in the freezer.
This week’s meals are simple and using what I have on hand in the freezer and pantry. I am going to be doing some baking this week, along with shifting the family from summer vacation to school routine. I need to get the baking done so that I have items to stick in my hubby’s and oldest son’s lunch.
This week’s lunches that are listed below are for the kids and me! Unless we are having leftovers, our lunches are served with apple slices or carrot sticks along with fruit juice or water. Hubby usually takes a dinner leftover along with various snacks for his work lunch so I don’t take the time to really plan his lunches. I just take the next container of leftovers in the stack in the fridge that I have prepared ahead of time.
A special thanks to Laura-Organizing Junkie for hosting Menu Plan Monday! Need help with your menus; go check the over 300 other delicious meal plans that have been linked at Laura-Organizing Junkie's site or look down in my right sidebar for my menu suggestion lists!

Singing Sunday---Came To My Rescue
Came To My Rescue
by Hillsong United
Songwriters: Joel Davies, Marty Sampson, Dylan Thomas
Falling on my knees in worship
Giving all I am to seek your face
Lord all I am is yours
My whole life
I place in your hands
God of Mercy
Humbled I bow down
In your presence at your throne
I called you answered
And you came to my rescue and I
I wanna be where you are
In my life be lifted high
In our world be lifted high
In our love be lifted high
