Your Love Never Fails
By: Chris McClarney, sung by Chris Quilala of Jesus Culture
Nothing can separate
Even if I ran away
Your love never fails
I know I still make mistakes
But You have new mercies for me everyday
Your love never fails
You stay the same through the ages
Your love never changes
There maybe pain in the night but joy comes in the morning
And when the oceans rage
I don't have to be afraid
Because I know that You love me
Your love never fails
The wind is strong and the water's deep
But I'm not alone in these open seas
Cause Your love never fails
The chasm is far too wide
I never thought I'd reach the other side
But Your love never fails
You make, all things, work together for my good.

Menu Plan Monday 8/22-8/23
I can not believe that I haven't posted menus since the beginning of May! Life has been very busy lately! The summer sneaked up on us and then flew by! Now, the new school year is approaching and I need to get back on track with making menus each week. When I stopped posting them I lost the motivation to even make them so for much of the summer I have been flying by the seat of my pants in the meal department. It is time to get the motivation back, so I am going to start posting menus again.
Last week’s menus were delicious! I stuck with simple, family favorite meals. I took advantage of the nice weather to grill several times so I did not heat up the house. We have been having my parents over for a meal at least once a week during the last several months. If they do not come to my house, we go to their house and eat a meal with them. Doing this routine seems to be helping my mom, who has dementia, to actually eat home-cooked meals rather than going out to eat for every meal. My dad has stated that when she eats with a crowd she seemingly eats better than when it is just the two of them.

Last week’s grocery shopping was a big shopping trip. Hopefully I calculated things correctly so I will just have to a staples run (milk, produce) these next couple of weeks before payday. We are still working at paying down some unexpected debt along with having THREE birthdays and an anniversary in the next month! So I am trying to keep the grocery bill down so that we have the extra money to work with for the "celebrations".
Hopefully sometime this week, I will be able to get some long overdue baking done. With the new school year fast approaching in a couple of weeks and having to actually pack a child's lunch for the first time, I want to have some baked goods ready to go! It would be nice to get a big stash of items done so that I don’t have to worry about not having something to pack in his lunch.
This week’s meals are more of my simple, family favorite meals. Things are going to be busy around our house again this week so I am keeping things simple in the kitchen. I am not totally sure what day or days, my parents are coming over so I might have to change some things around as the week progresses.
This week’s lunches that are listed below are for the kids and me! Unless we are having leftovers, our lunches are served with apple slices or carrot sticks along with fruit juice or water. Hubby usually takes a dinner leftover along with various snacks for his work lunch so I don’t take the time to really plan his lunches. I just take the next container of leftovers in the stack in the fridge that I have prepared ahead of time.

Singing Sunday--From The Inside Out
From The Inside Out
by Hillsong United
A thousand times I've failed
Still your mercy remains
Should I stumble again
Still I'm caught in your grace
Everlasting, your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, your glory goes beyond all fame
Your will above all else
My purpose remains
The art of losing myself in bringing you praise
Everlasting, your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, your glory goes beyond all fame
In my heart, in my soul
I give you control
Consume me from the inside out
Let justice and praise
Become my embrace
To love you from the inside out
Everlasting, your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, your glory goes beyond all fame
And the cry of my heart is to bring you praise
From the inside out
Lord my soul cries out

Singing Sunday-- Can't Take Away
Can't Take Away
by Mike Grayson, Sam Tinnesz, Jason Ingram (Mikeschair)
All around
All of us
Fear has come and so we must
Ask ourselves
In who we trust
What we have here
Is not enough
So let it ring
In freedom sing
You can take away
Everything that I've been holding
You can take away the sun
You can take away the very air that I've been breathing
But you can't take away my God
Oh, my God, my God
Waves will come
And winds will blow
But it's not here I've found my hope
My beating heart
My very soul
Is held by one who won't let go
And so I'll cling
To You my King
You can take away
Everything that I've been holding
You can take away the sun
You can take away the very air that I've been breathing
But you can't take away my God
Oh, my God, my God
A hope that can't be lost
A love that can't be bought
You can't take away my God
Nothing high or low
Nothing you can control
You can't take away my God
You can take away
Everything that I've been holding
You can take away the Sun
You can take away the very air that I've been breathing
But you can't take away my God
No you can't
No you can't
Take away my God
No you can't
No you can't
No you can't
Take away my God, Oh My God, My God.

Singing Sunday--Our God
Our God
by Chris Tomlin
Water You turned into wine
Open the eyes of the blind
There’s no one like You
None like You
Into the darkness You shining
Out of the ashes we rise
There’s no one like You
None like You
CHORUS
Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome and power
Our God, Our God…
Into the darkness you shining
Out of the ashes we Rise
There’s no One like You
None like You.
Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome and power
Our God, Our God…
Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome and power
Our God, Our God…
BRIDGE
And if Our God is for us, then who could ever stop us
And if our God is with us, then what can stand against?
And if Our God is for us, then who could ever stop us
And if our God is with us, then what can stand against?
What can stand against?
Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God You are higher than any other
